I personally feel katagana is more difficult than hiragana.
That is what most of my students say, too!
Why do you think it is?
I don't think it's necessarily more difficult (for me at least), but since we learned hiragana first, I always think of hiragana when I try to write in katakana. That's why katakana is more bothersome for me...

Some students says the same thing. The only thing you can do, is probably to be used to it. See, read, write it often!
